its strange…while in high school, i told myself how much i hated it. i hated most of the people in my school.

but now that im in college. i miss how everyone cared about each other. we were all close. people would notice if you got a hair cut. people would know each other. people would work together.

in college, i know the kids that sit next to me as, “the kid who sits next to me in math”

and during my graduation, i thought, “this is stupid, i hate everyone here” … but now… i miss them. i miss project graduation and that night we were all together.

i just miss it. i miss the teachers who knew you and your work. i miss lunch.

i should have never taken it for granted.

story of my life.  that’s why i’m switching to somewhere smaller next year.  my school this year is literally like a city.  i always see someone new in at least one of my classes everyday, and it just astounds me.

I realized the only class I actually enjoy in college is Italian, and the only reason I enjoy it is that there are only 19 other students in the class, and we see each other every day. We can be personal and personable. We aren’t swallowed up by the sea. We know each other by both face and name. If it wasn’t for this one small class, my 700 person chemistry lecture and my 60 person calculus class would make me explode.
